Absences

In Person:
If your child is absent, please call or email the nurse by 8:15.

Remote:
If your child is absent or cannot attend a Zoom meeting, please call the main office (7950) by 8:15.

* dressed like you’re going to school.
* prepared to participate (appropriate materials ready and within reach).
* in a dedicated work space (ie: a table or desk with minimal distractions)
* in a position that appears professional (ie not laying in bed).
* limiting distractions observable to others
* participating with your video on or actively engaged in on-task chat with the teacher. (If unable to use video, then a supervising adult will need to assist with engagement through chat.)
* muted unless you’re speaking.
* using screen sharing and whiteboard appropriately, both in terms of content and timing.
